Photos: Police secure the release of 13-year-old girl abducted & converted to Islam by her uncle in Bauchi

The Bauchi State Police have secured the release of a young girl that was abducted by her Uncle in Bauchi State and forcibly converted to Islam.
Her father, an ordained Elder of Seventh-day Adventist Church, Elder Bawa Buba, had written an open letter to cry out over the abduction and islamization of his 13 year old daughter Alheri Bawa by her uncle Mal Dauda Buba.

'FG requires $166bn to meet Nigeria’s Transport And Energy needs' - Amaechi

Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi says Federal Government requires a total of $166 billion in the next five years to meet the country’s energy and transport infrastructure needs. Amaechi gave the figure while speaking at a public hearing in the House of Representatives on a Bill for an Act to Repeal the Nigerian Railway Corporation Act yesterday May 23rd.

Amaechi revealed that the Federal Government and General Electric had concluded arrangements for the commercialization of the Lagos-Kano railway project.
